Project Manager, Operations Management

Green Bay Packaging seeks a Project Manager to lead manufacturing and packaging projects supporting innovative, sustainable solutions. In this role, you'll plan and execute projects from concept through start-up, coordinating production, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams. You'll manage timelines, budgets, and resources, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safe, reliable project delivery. You'll engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders, supporting a people-first culture focused on safety, integrity, and long-term growth in a stable, expanding manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing packaging projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget targets are met
• Coordinate cross-functional teams in production, engineering, supply chain, and quality to deliver customer solutions
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for multiple concurrent projects
• Monitor project performance using KPIs, addressing risks, issues, and bottlenecks to keep work on track
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean/CI principles to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
• Communicate project status, milestones, and changes to stakeholders and plant leadership
• Ensure project documentation, specifications, and change orders are accurate and up to date
• Collaborate with customers and sales to clarify requirements and ensure successful implementation
• Support cost estimating, CAPEX requests, and ROI analysis for new equipment or process initiatives
• Champion safe work practices and compliance with company and regulatory standards in all project activities
