Job Duties (Instructor)
  • Supervise students in clinical and/or simulation settings.
  • Maintain student attendance and records as directed.
  • Document successful and unsuccessful performance in clinical/simulation situations.
  • Assist in evaluation process and grading of student performance.
  • Attend faculty meetings as determined by the Program Director and/or Program Chair.
  • Participate in advisory committee meetings as scheduled and determined by the Program Chair.
  • Participate in systematic evaluation process of the nursing program.
  • Maintain working knowledge in teaching and nursing fields by attending workshops, continuing education opportunities, and professional development.
  • Adhere to the UACCM Program Guide and Syllabi for Nursing students, and the UACCM Nursing Faculty Handbook.
  • Adhere to institutional policies in effect at UACCM.
  • Serve as a positive role model for students, staff, and colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid and unencumbered Arkansas Nursing license (RN preferred).
  • Must hold a degree or diploma at or above the level of the education program offered.
  • Working knowledge of rules, regulations, principles and policies in nursing.
  • Current TB skin test (negative result) and CPR certification (Healthcare Provider).
  • Minimum one year of clinical nurse experience.
Additional Information
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of clinical protocol, procedures, and standards within area of nursing expertise.
  • Technical leadership skills within area of expertise.
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • High level of organizational skills with ability to provide information/reports quickly.
  • Able to travel to clinical sites and work assigned number of hours.
  • Able to move freely, lift and carry up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.
Salary Information

$30/hour
