- Supervise students in clinical and/or simulation settings.
- Maintain student attendance and records as directed.
- Document successful and unsuccessful performance in clinical/simulation situations.
- Assist in evaluation process and grading of student performance.
- Attend faculty meetings as determined by the Program Director and/or Program Chair.
- Participate in advisory committee meetings as scheduled and determined by the Program Chair.
- Participate in systematic evaluation process of the nursing program.
- Maintain working knowledge in teaching and nursing fields by attending workshops, continuing education opportunities, and professional development.
- Adhere to the UACCM Program Guide and Syllabi for Nursing students, and the UACCM Nursing Faculty Handbook.
- Adhere to institutional policies in effect at UACCM.
- Serve as a positive role model for students, staff, and colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Valid and unencumbered Arkansas Nursing license (RN preferred).
- Must hold a degree or diploma at or above the level of the education program offered.
- Working knowledge of rules, regulations, principles and policies in nursing.
- Current TB skin test (negative result) and CPR certification (Healthcare Provider).
- Minimum one year of clinical nurse experience.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of clinical protocol, procedures, and standards within area of nursing expertise.
- Technical leadership skills within area of expertise.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High level of organizational skills with ability to provide information/reports quickly.
- Able to travel to clinical sites and work assigned number of hours.
- Able to move freely, lift and carry up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.
$30/hour
