This pivotal role involves overseeing electrical installation projects, supervising a team of skilled professionals, and leading commissioning efforts to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
The successful candidate will have a hands-on role in the development and implementation of motor control centers, switch gear commissioning, substations, and transformers.

Job details
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead electrical installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of electricians and other skilled professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and safety.
- Develop and implement motor control centers, overseeing all aspects from design to installation and maintenance.
- Lead switch gear commissioning efforts, ensuring all equipment is installed and functioning correctly and safely.
- Oversee the development and implementation of substations and transformers, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure all electrical installations and equipment meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders, providing expert advice and guidance on all electrical installation and commissioning matters.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and implement these into your work where appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with motor control centers, switch gear commissioning, substations, and transformers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop others.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
- Professional certification in Electrical Installation or a related field would be an advantage.
