- Permanent position for a Field Engineering Specialist to prepare daily schedule of site visits for current projects.
- Conduct and coordinate construction site visits and performs observation and inspection services.
- Act as construction liaison for company engineering and finance.
- Complete and submit reports.
- Review shop drawings and cut sheets from contractors for compliance.
- Schedule service connections with Operations.
- Observe contractor’s installation of water service lines.
- Observation includes trench restoration, and installation of water service lines on private property, etc.
- Schedule and observe disinfection and pressure testing.
- Sign off on development projects.
- Create a tracking system of unauthorized water usage at project sites.
- Create a notification process to inform the Engineering and Finance Divisions.
- Responsible for GPS of newly constructed water assets using company equipment.
- Coordinate field changes with contractors and engineering.
- Conduct site investigations to verify design sketches for projects.
- AAS Engineering or Construction Management.

- Good communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with engineering applications, including record keeping.
- Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Understanding and compliance with county policies and procedures.
