ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Solstice is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President and Treasurer to build and lead the global treasury function. This role will be based at Solstice’s headquarters in Morris Plains, NJ, and will play a critical role in establishing the company’s capital structure, liquidity strategy, risk management framework, and treasury infrastructure as a newly independent public company.

Responsibilities Liquidity and Investment Management
  • Proactively manage global long-term and short-term debt portfolios, bank credit facilities, and cash investments
  • Lead global cash flow forecasting processes and ensure covenant compliance
  • Ensure appropriate funding and oversight of pension and benefit plans
Market Risk Management
  • Analyze geopolitical and macroeconomic trends
  • Design and execute foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity hedging strategies
Risk Insurance
  • Ensure appropriate insurance coverage across D&O, casualty, liability, property, environmental, and other risk areas
Capital Structure
  • Recommend and implement an optimal capital structure aligned with Solstice’s business strategy, risk profile, and financial objectives
Legal Entity Management
  • Ensure appropriate capitalization of global legal entities
  • Lead global cash repatriation efforts
  • Represent Treasury on tax restructurings, M&A transactions, and corporate reorganizations
Capital Deployment
  • Recommend and execute dividend and share repurchase policies
  • Advise senior leadership on debt capacity for share repurchases and M&A
M&A and Strategic Transactions
  • Lead treasury diligence, structuring, financing, and integration for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and spin-related activities
Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, bondholders, credit investors, and rating agencies
Technology and Infrastructure
  • Lead the design and implementation of treasury and payments infrastructure
  • Oversee banking platforms, ERP integrations, and treasury management systems
Enterprise Partnership
  • Build strong partnerships with business units and corporate functions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor while remaining focused on performance and growth
Governance and Controls
  • Develop and maintain strong compliance policies and internal controls
Leadership
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a global treasury team
  • Foster a high-performance culture and build a best-in-class treasury organization
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
  • MBA, Master’s degree, CFA, or formal credit training preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in a global multinational treasury or banking environment
  • Strong background in leveraged finance, project finance, debt capital markets, credit underwriting, or adjacent disciplines
  • Proven ability to lead complex financing transactions and manage competing priorities
  • Advanced technical knowledge of financial instruments and treasury applications
  • Strong familiarity with legal, tax, and accounting considerations related to treasury activities
  • Experience negotiating merger agreements, leveraged loan documentation, and high-yield bond offerings
  • Ability to define and execute a modern treasury and payments technology roadmap
  • Good standing with relevant regulatory agencies (e.g., FINRA, SEC, CFTC, Federal Reserve)
  • Demonstrated success leading diverse, global teams and developing talent.
