Production QC/QA, Validation Engineer
Band Level 2 Manufacturing Equipment Specialist
Location:
Morris Plains, New Jersey. Relocation support: none.
Schedule:
4×10 shift. Two positions – Sunday–Wednesday and Wednesday–Saturday. Indicate preference when applying.
- Provide front‑line engineering and technical support to ensure safe, compliant, on‑time batch manufacturing.
- Schedule and coordinate equipment preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair activities.
- Deliver real‑time troubleshooting and support for production equipment and manufacturing systems.
- Support installation, set‑up, and qualification of new and existing equipment and processing modules.
- Identify and implement improvements in process efficiency, equipment reliability, and operational quality.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Quality, Engineering, and MS&T to support manufacturing readiness.
- Maintain an inspection‑ready environment through adherence to cGMP and documentation standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting manufacturing equipment within a regulated Good Manufacturing Practice environment.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in a production setting.
- Proficiency with manufacturing and quality systems such as SAP, LIMS, MES.
- Ability to work independently while supporting cross‑functional teams across Quality, Engineering, and MS&T.
- Willingness and ability to work in cleanroom environments requiring aseptic gowning for extended periods.
- Proficient in the use of production related IT systems such as SAP, LIMS, MES, 1
QEM.
- Experience supporting cell therapy production equipment (including prior involvement in equipment installation, qualification, or process validation activities).
- Salary range: $33.65 to $62.50 per hour.
