DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Performs Human Resources work by assisting in day to day operations of the Human Resources Department in the areas of file maintenance, customer service, recruitment, and other clerical work. May handle special projects as assigned. Consistently exercises initiative, independent judgment, attention to detail and courteous customer service.
QUALIFICATIONSProfessional/Educational
High School diploma and three to five years of secretarial/administrative support experience is required, Associates Degree or Certification in Human Resource Management is preferred.
Proficiency in multiple computer applications. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point, Outlook and the Internet.
Working knowledge of employment law, principles of selection and placement and employee relations is preferred.
Experience with various office equipment including FAX machine, printer, scanning and copy machine.
Personal
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Analytical skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
