Scale Clerk – 3rd Shift Position

Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals

Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries via telephone and email

Have strong written and verbal communication skills

Meet client requirements

Report plant incidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management

Follow all company policies and procedures

Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information including files and records

Ensure the integrity of import and export documentation such as bills of lading and packing lists

Ensure stationary supplies for office are readily available and replenish as necessary

Have technological capabilities to use logistics software easily

Update Excel logs

Process tank wagon orders in MES and SAP

Scale in and out trucks as needed

Create badges for employees as necessary

Have skills required to write emails and memos in a professional manner

Be able to implement office procedures

Perform routine bookkeeping tasks

Be able to keep track of all trailers dropped on-site
