Sunbelt Rentals— the fastest growing rental business in North America— is seeking a Service Administrator. As a Service Administrator, you will assist the Service Manager with customer relations and maintaining DOT compliance.
Responsibilities- Maintain truck files and DOT compliance for both Rental and Non‑Rental Fleet
- Schedule and coordinate Preventive Maintenance and DOT inspections on both Rental and Non‑Rental Fleet (Trucks)
- Perform duties as Safety Coordinator in regards to DOT Fleet
- Conduct weekly inspections of DOT Fleet
- Monitor loading and unloading on Sunbelt Yard
- Conduct DOS with drivers on a monthly basis
- Assist Service Manager in the warranty recovery process
- Conduct reviews of closed work orders to ensure warranty opportunity has not been missed
- Catalog warranty parts for validation on manufacturer’s request
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer’s issued Service Bulletins
- Assist Service Manager in Customer Damage
- Prepare damage letters and send to customers
- Maintain photographic and physical evidence relating to customer damage
- Direct the supply of parts to shop mechanics, other branches and customers
- Screens and prioritizes service calls to meet customer needs
- Assure that equipment is available as required
- Order parts to maintain adequate supplies
- Work with equipment vendors to learn the maintenance requirements and capabilities of new equipment added to inventory
The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required.
Base Pay Range$20.89 – $28.72 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
