Position: Yorkville School District opens search for Coordinator of Professional Growth

Hot Yorkville School District is seeking a Coordinator of Professional Growth to lead its educator development vision and oversee instructional coaching across the district.

Overview

Reporting to the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning, this 12‑month administrative position manages specialists in math, literacy, data, technology, and gifted learning. The coordinator provides strategic feedback to align these content areas with the district's mission for continuous improvement and leads the district’s instructional coaching program, managing building‑level coaches and collaborating with principals to ensure instructional alignment and program efficacy through data analysis.

The role also includes vertical articulation across grade levels, management of new teacher programming (mentor training and preparation), support for staff readiness for e‑learning and summer programs, and collaboration with district leadership to implement institute days.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage instructional coaching across the district.
  • Oversee specialists in math, literacy, data, technology, and gifted learning.
  • Provide strategic feedback to align content areas with district mission.
  • Manage building‑level coaches and collaborate with principals on instructional alignment.
  • Analyze data to ensure program efficacy.
  • Ensure vertical articulation across grade levels.
  • Manage new teacher programming including mentor training and preparation.
  • Support staff readiness for e‑learning and summer programs.
  • Collaborate with district leadership to implement institute days.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree and an Illinois Professional Educators License.
  • Proven track record of coaching teams and leading professional development within an EC‑12 school district.
  • Preferred: administrative certification and experience evaluating teachers.
Additional Requirements
  • Fingerprint background check.
  • TB test.
  • Physical demands: primarily sedentary, with 80% of the workday spent sitting.
Salary Range

$77,000 to $110,000 (exempt).
