Expected Salary Range
Senior Level: $118,000 – $148,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits.

Primary Purpose Of Position

Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions and possesses detailed knowledge of industry codes and regulations.

Primary Duties And Accountabilities
  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
  • Offer technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
  • Manage engineering issues from initial to complete task.
  • Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision, applying general engineering principles.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, employing proper configuration management and standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes.
  • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies and analyses supporting technical projects and programs.
  • Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs and correct design or material flaws or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
  • Perform other assignments such as emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs and support of outage activities outside the department.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (non‑engineer) with 5 years of nuclear or related industry experience, OR
  • Associate’s degree in a technical field with 7 years of nuclear or related industry experience, OR
  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of nuclear or related experience, 5 of which should be at the exempt level.
  • Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific functional area.
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
  • Project management or project team experience.
  • Training coordination experience.

This Analyst role can be filled at the Senior level.
