Position: Speech and Language Pathologist (School)

School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Tact Staff EDU is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative school district in Morris, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting students across a K–12 caseload in a school-based setting. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual, small-group, and classroom settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable).
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support students’ communication and academic achievement.
  • Comply with all district, state, and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred;
    Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
