Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the laundry team to ensure efficient and effective processing of soiled linens and clothing

• Inspect laundry areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning

• Conduct quality control checks on cleaned and laundered items to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a clean and organized facility

• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure a thorough and consistent cleaning of all areas, including resident rooms, common areas, and public spaces

• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

• Comply with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all team members

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or laundry supervisory role, preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

• High school diploma or equivalent required
