About the Role
As a CBRE GDS Commercial Cleaner part‑time, you will perform basic cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping and trash disposal, and ensure the cleanliness of assigned areas.
What You’ll Do- Provide daily cleaning support to high‑traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
- Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
- Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
- Dust furniture, walls, and equipment including moving and rearranging furniture.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stored safely and securely at all times.
- Complete standardized cleaning processes as per company standards.
- Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
- Attend all regular staff meetings and required in‑service training sessions.
- Follow basic work routines and standards.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while exercising limited discretion.
- High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job‑related experience.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and moving furniture.
- Ability to follow basic work routines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated time frames.
- Reliable and responsible, can work independently or as part of a team.
Minimum pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.
