Description
CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency, is looking for a full-time Coordinated Entry Supervisor in Morris County. Under the direction of the Unhoused Director, the CES will manage the program day-to-day operations including supervising a team of Specialists, which provides access to housing and services for individuals who are experiencing homelessness. The focus of this work is to connect individuals with resources and services to assist them in stabilizing their homelessness, mental health and primary health situations.

Highlights- Manage Coordinated Entry program, ensuring compliance with HUD regulations.
- Prioritize individuals and refer to the appropriate housing programs; the most vulnerable individuals are given priority and timely placement into housing programs that provide the necessary services for individuals' success.
- Build partnerships with community organizations, government agencies and advocate for homelessness.
- Support team to include day-to-day operations and regular team meetings, quality assurance, and compliance.
Full-time | Benefit Eligible (Medical, free DMO dental & free vision) including 6 weeks PTO & 11 Holidays
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in a mental health discipline.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.
- Experience in the human services/nonprofit/governmental field.
- Knowledge of service provisions for the homeless; working knowledge of social, economic issues relevant to low-income communities; and trends in the field of homelessness and social services.
- Strong understanding of housing first principles and harm reduction.
- Experience implementing HUD Coordinated Entry system requirements, standards and compliance.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage crises.
- Ability to effectively communicate and relate to a diverse population in a multicultural environment.
- Proven ability to engage and support individuals with mental health diagnoses using empathy, professionalism, and trauma-informed practices.
- Bilingual skills are a plus!
- MUST have a valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
