HVAC Installer​/Service Technician

• Earn $25 - $32 per hour, based on experience.

• Work as an HVAC Installer/Service Technician based in Morris, IL, serving customers throughout Grundy County and surrounding communities.

• Primarily install residential heating and cooling systems, with HVAC service work performed as needed.

• Install furnaces, air conditioners, and related residential HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.

• Work with Lennox equipment, R. L. Lyon’s primary brand, along with other heating and cooling equipment as needed.

• Apply basic electrical and piping knowledge during HVAC installations.

• Perform sheet metal work as needed based on your experience.

• Assist with HVAC maintenance, repair, and service calls when needed.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners about installation work, equipment, and system operation.

• Deliver the dependable workmanship and attention to detail customers expect from a company that has served the area for generations.

• Maintain tidy, professional work areas and respect customers' homes.

• Take ownership of your work in the field and know when additional support is needed.

• Support indoor air quality, ventilation, and related heating and cooling work as needed.

• 2 - 4 years of hands-on HVAC experience preferred.

• Residential heating and cooling installation experience required.

• EPA and A2L certifications required.

• Experience installing furnaces, air conditioners, and related residential HVAC equipment.

• Lennox equipment or brand experience preferred.

• Sheet metal experience is a plus.

• Basic electrical and piping knowledge desired.

• Ability to perform HVAC service work as needed. Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting experience is not required for this role.

• Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with homeowners.

• Self-directed approach with strong initiative, accountability, and attention to quality.

• Ability to follow established company procedures while applying sound judgment in the field.

• Commitment to honest recommendations, dependable service, and quality workmanship.
