Loader Operator

Job Summary

The Loader Operator I is responsible for operating heavy equipment and trucks, setting up equipment for auction in yards and helping customers during and after auctions.

• Operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks.
• Help set up equipment in the yard for auctions.
• Assist customers with loading their equipment purchases and answer related questions.
• Support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety by taking personal responsibility for safety of yourself, your team, co‑workers and customers.
• Learn and assist with vehicle check‑in tasks as needed.
• Support and assist yard staff responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience operating heavy machinery.
• Asset: experience operating a large 36,000‑lb forklift.
• Good spoken and written English required.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly.
• Track record of working safely and helping others work safely.
• Ability to relate well with customers and team members.
• Preference for teamwork but also ability to self‑start and work independently.
• Organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and eligible to operate a motor vehicle as required for duties.
