Forklift Operator Material Handler

Position:
Forklift Operator in Morris, Illinois.

Salary: $21.75 per hour, plus additional shift pay and earned incentives. Pay is weekly.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, and tote products; stage items; load and unload trucks.
• Handle daily paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Highly thorough and dependable, punctual with good attendance.
• High initiative and demonstrates accuracy under pressure.
• Physical capability to lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and use health and safety methods.
• Flexible schedule across various work shifts.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
