Ryder is immediately hiring permanent full‑time Warehouse Stand Up Forklift Operator in Morris, Illinois.
Position
Description:
Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver. Pay weekly.
- Hourly Pay: $21.75 per hour
- Schedule:
Monday–Tuesday and Friday–Saturday, 5:30 am – 4:00 pm
Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. The right Warehouse Associate will join a team in a safe supply chain environment with state‑of‑the‑art equipment. Products handled include food products. Equipment used includes stand up forklifts.

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or customer‑specific badging or background requirements.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid forklift operator license certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work within a diverse environment and be a team player
- Ability to maintain professional relationships across all levels
- High level of reliability and punctuality
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision and shows initiative
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to work using health and safety methods
- Flexible schedule availability across various shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
- Manage day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production
- Perform other duties as assigned
