Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manage
r with a strong accounting background and insurance industry experienc
e to oversee the company's day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting business operations, and driving process improvements

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform monthly account reconciliations, including account balances, expenses, and employee reimbursements
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports for management
• Partner with external auditors during annual audits and financial review
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirement
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience within the insurance industry (required)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and STAT reporting
