Job Title
Responsible for supervising internal and external administrative support services for the organization. Assigns administrative support personnel to departments, coordinates the flow of work through administrator, tracks performance, and provides feedback. Develops procedures, policies and materials and directs work priorities to improve services.
Principal AccountabilitiesEffectively communicates staff or practice activity to superiors, supervises back end staff, conducts staff evaluations, trains new staff members, provides leadership or guidance, and acts as a resource to Front Office staff. Ensures compliance in accordance to federal and state regulations. Monitors the work of a team responsible for office upkeep, mail services, communication, secretarial work, custodial operations, or other support services.
Coordinates meetings and schedules meeting room or meeting equipment. Prepares and manages reports, manuals, correspondence and other documents using a database or word processing. Prepares practice reports in a timely manner. Works with other supervisors to coordinate workplace activities with other departments, units or teams. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
High School Diploma required. Preferred: EPIC experience strongly preferred. Associates degree or higher in business administration preferred. Experience in a physician practice setting. 2-4 years prior medical office associate (MOA) or front desk experience. Experience with insurance verification, referrals and appointment scheduling.
