Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a Office Administrator based in Morristown, NJ.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$60,000-$70,000

Position Overview:

Seeking an Office Administrator to oversee daily office operations and provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and staff. This role ensures an organized, efficient, and professional work environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure an efficient and organized work environment
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, conference calls, and appointments for attorneys and staff
  • Coordinate office correspondence, including phone calls, emails, mail distribution, and document preparation
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical filing systems while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Assist with legal document formatting, proofreading, copying, scanning, and preparation for client meetings and court filings
  • Coordinate office supplies, vendor relationships, equipment maintenance, and facility needs
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments while maintaining accurate records
  • Assist with client intake, greeting visitors, and providing exceptional customer service
  • Support onboarding of new employees, coordinate office events, and assist with general HR administrative functions
  • Maintain office policies, procedures, and administrative workflows to improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to support ongoing legal matters and firm initiatives

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 3+ years of office administration, executive support, or operations experience, preferably within a legal or professional services environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Experience managing confidential information and handling sensitive documents
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines while working independently and collaboratively

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Experience supporting attorneys or legal professionals
  • Familiarity with legal office procedures and terminology
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred
