Position Summary
- Lead the development and implementation of the global strategy for a new pipeline asset in GI and Lung cancers and potential future indications.
- Based in Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ; reports to the Global Franchise Head, Oncology.
- Collaborate with R&D, Medical Affairs, Clinical Program Management, and the new pipeline asset Global teams to lead Life Cycle Strategy.
- Ensure the asset is launch ready for all GI and Lung indications and combinations.
- Represent the global commercial perspective in LCM and R&D clinical development programs.
- Identify development opportunities, conduct commercial assessments, and support business cases for potential investments.
- Develop the asset’s ambition and overall value proposition (short/mid/long term) and required resources using insights from top markets and external stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate market drivers/barriers and best practices.
- Develop the brand plan and strategy aligned across key markets.
- Execute the defined strategy across countries and exceed in-market and financial expectations with country teams.
- Build internal/external awareness and contribute to the KOL strategy.
- Engage external stakeholders and support strategic presence at global oncology congresses.
- Attract and recruit top talent; motivate, delegate, celebrate diversity, and manage performance.
- Bachelor’s degree (life sciences, marketing, or business required); MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- 12–15 years’ global commercial leadership experience (sales, marketing, market access).
- Strong Oncology expertise (solid tumor, GI, or Lung), US experience, and prior oncology launches required.
- Strong strategic thinking; collaboration/conceptual/innovation skills; cross-functional experience (e.g., Marketing, Sales, R&D, Medical Affairs, Market Research, Finance, Forecasting).
- Experience leading without authority in a matrix; strong project management.
- Travel up to 40% (domestic/international).
- Communicator; results-oriented; relationship-builder/influencer.
- Change agent; political savvy; conflict management; cultural transformation.
