You’ll work with experienced engineers and inspectors to perform quality control inspection of the construction and rehabilitation of roads/bridges, general site work, maintenance and protection of traffic, drainage, earthwork, paving, reinforced concrete, utility relocation/coordination, and site safety in northern/central New Jersey. You’ll also be trained to read contract construction documents, perform testing of common construction materials, and prepare daily reports documenting the contractor’s operations.
The training program includes off-site seminars and course work. The costs and fees for these courses will be reimbursable.

Here's what you'll need
- High school diploma
- Flexibility to work days or nights, as required by the contractor’s operations
- Valid driver license and satisfactory driving record
- Strong math and computer skills
- Good communication and writing skills

The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $60,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
