Overview
The Supervisor, Construction Project Management provides oversight, coordination and management of construction project equipment planning and purchasing for diverse and complex construction projects. Oversees all aspects of construction process ensure AHS project scope completion within a set timeline, specification, and budget. Supervises Construction Project and construction general Contractors. Travels to offsite facilities as needed.
CoreJob Duties
- Prepares, supervises, and reports all aspects of construction build, including budgeting, planning, for Atlantic Medical Group and select hospital projects as needed.
- Manages services between vendor, architects, and client(s) including directing and inspecting the deliveries and installations of final products.
- Oversees equipment planning with contractor.
- Travels to offsites frequently to inspect installations, job condition, schedule, etc.
- Oversees any miscellaneous end-user furniture requests for offsite facilities and hospitals if needed.
- Includes upholding the safety and quality of the project, Reviews drawings and contracts when appropriate and provides input, recommendations, and approval if/when necessary.
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports on projects.
- Assists in maintaining documentation for department, especially for offsite projects.
- Prepares drawings for miscellaneous layout change requests or minor construction work performed in-house and in field.
- Trains and supervises construction employees and trades.
- Assist if needed to pitch in with some very light hands on manual labor.
- Identifying, managing, and mitigating risk factors to ensure the construction goes smoothly.
- Establishes a construction job checklist to make sure processes are kept the same throughout each job.
- Coordinates separate inter-departmental equipment meetings to establish existing to reuse and net new on new construction jobs.
- Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant work experience, major in Design/Architecture/Construction preferred
- 3 Plus years of experience Supervising Construction projects (must have a background in the trades)
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle as travel is part of job
- Strong communication and organizational skills, knowledge of project management, and experience leading/supervising teams
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office
- Auto Cad or equivalent software experience
- Minimum Salary (Hourly Rate): 50.15
- Maximum Salary (Hourly Rate): 88.28
