As a Locum Pediatric Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in delivering surgical interventions for infants and children, ensuring their health and well-being. You will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to manage patient care and participate in various surgical procedures. • Perform surgical procedures on pediatric patients
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative evaluations
• Collaborate with pediatricians and other specialists
• Provide comprehensive patient care and support
• Document patient history and treatment plans accurately
• Participate in surgical rounds and case discussions
• Educate patients and families about surgical procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in surgery

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Pediatric Surgery
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Experience in a pediatric surgical setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
• Knowledge of current medical practices and technologies

Schedule:

Friday-Sunday (24-hour call), 2 weekends per month
