Faculty Physician, Family Medicine, Morristown Medical Center

Atlantic Health, a leading healthcare provider in New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Faculty Physician to join our esteemed Family Medicine team at Morristown Medical Center. As a key member of our academic Department of Family Medicine, you will play a pivotal role in the administrative, clinical, and educational aspects of our Family Medicine Residency program.

Responsibilities:

• Administrative and Teaching:
  Provide leadership in the development and oversight of the Family Medicine Residency program. Review and enhance residency policies and curriculum to ensure alignment with ACGME competency standards.
• Clinical:
  Conduct outpatient office hours and inpatient rounds, providing supervision to residents and students. Maintain flexibility for evening, weekend, and on-call coverage as per practice needs.
• Departmental Engagement:
  Participate in community education, quality improvement initiatives, and scholarly activities. Contribute to hospital and corporate committees to promote organizational policy and safety goals.

Salary Range: $220,000–$270,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and board certification in Family Medicine.
• 3-5 years of experience is preferred
• Teaching experience is preferred
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
• Strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven group
