Physician Assistant, ENT Group at Providence

Job Description

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey’s largest integrated health care systems, is seeking a full‑time Physician Assistant to join the ENT group at New Providence, affiliated with Overlook Medical Center. The team consists of experienced board‑certified surgeons and a skilled physician assistant who are experts in many types of surgeries, from in‑office procedures to minimally invasive procedures. The candidate will join a busy and growing practice located in an office that was recently renovated with 13 exam rooms and state‑of‑the‑art equipment.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in an OR setting with in‑patient follow‑up or consult. Responsibilities include a multi‑venue scope (OR, ER, hospital floor, office) and a combination of direct patient care (inpatient and outpatient). The PA will assess health status, participate in diagnosis, develop care plans, and implement treatment. Outpatient office duties include coordination of preoperative patient care, ordering tests, preoperative clearances, and scheduling procedures.

The schedule is Monday‑Friday (days), with no weekends and no on‑call required.

• Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• 1–2 years of surgical experience preferred
• OR First Assist experience preferred
• ENT or surgical sub‑specialty experience preferred
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic, team player, able to work independently
