Academic Success Teacher – Leave replacement (8/26/26 – 11/25/26).

• Support the implementation of the Morris School District Multi‑Tiered Support System (MTSS) at all tiers with specific focus on Tier I and Tier II for ELA and/or Math.
• Model developmentally appropriate, research‑based approaches for teachers, strengthening capacity to differentiate and provide instruction specific to student needs in ELA and/or Math.
• Provide professional development when necessary for content area teachers in ELA and/or Math; facilitate teacher‑learning opportunities within and outside Tier I, schedule individual or small group sessions (PLCs, Monday Meetings).
• Use universal diagnostic data, common assessments and screenings in partnership with teachers to identify students at risk of falling more than two levels below grade level.
• Create and monitor student goals and learning plans for ELA and/or Math in collaboration with teachers.
• Provide differentiated instruction/supports to develop grade‑level academic skills in ELA and/or Math so that students return to Tier I.
• Use developmentally appropriate research‑based approaches and assessments in ELA and Math to support and measure student growth relative to individual learning plans.
• Monitor student progress using learning targets, relevant data and consultation with homeroom teachers for ELA and/or Math.
• Communicate with teachers, parents and building administrators regarding student goals and progress on a regular basis.
• Document student goals, learning plans and progress monitoring in Panorama Student Success.
• Ensure collaboration across student support teams, Academic Success Teachers and classroom teachers, documenting goals, supports and ongoing monitoring in Panorama Student Success.
• Provide professional development for content‑area teachers in ELA and/or Math.
• Facilitate teacher‑learning opportunities within and outside of Tier I classroom, individually or in small groups (PLCs, Monday Meetings).
• Fill out and submit appropriate documentation in accordance with published due dates (schedules, student plans, allocation time sheets).

• Appropriate New Jersey Elementary Teacher Certification.
• Experience with intervention strategies for ELA and/or Math.
• Five years teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of the Multi‑Tiered Support System (MTSS).
• Strength in data analysis and instructional goal setting.

Salary:
In accordance with the established Morris School District Salary Guide, ranging from $64,425 to $115,315. Benefits:
