Preschool Teachers Assistant

Primary Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the lead teacher in a Jewish preschool program that serves students 18 months to PreK
• Responsible for the safety and security of the students at all times
• Assist with toileting, cleaning, and sanitizing in accordance with licensing standards
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Assist in making daily observations
• Gain knowledge of the preschool curriculum and Judaic content provided
• Interact and play with children in a positive calm manner
• Attend staff development, meetings and other required trainings for needed professional development hours
• Follow the state licensing and grow NJ kid expectations

• High school diploma/GED
• CDA or bachelor's in education preferred
• First Aid /CPR certified, if not willing to get it within 90 days of employment
• At least 1 year experience working in preschool/childcare setting
• Experience with Judaic knowledge is a plus

Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma. An CDA, associates or bachelor's degree is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay:
From $28,000 to 31,000(September to June)
