As a Mechanical Insulation Take-Offs and Estimating Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of take-offs and estimates for mechanical insulation projects. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the field of mechanical insulation.

• Assist in the preparation of take-offs for mechanical insulation projects.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine insulation requirements.
• Calculate material quantities and costs for insulation projects.
• Collaborate with the estimating team to develop accurate project estimates.
• Maintain detailed records of take-offs and estimates.
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing information.
• Support the project management team in planning and scheduling insulation work.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or coursework in mechanical insulation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications and drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
