First Energy is seeking a Transmission Substation Specialist in NJ to provide field technical services for maintenance, testing and commissioning of substation equipment up to 100 kV and 500 kV. You will work outside the office 90%+ time at substations and service centers within the local area.
Responsibilities include commissioning equipment, developing test plans, onsite support, and mentoring technicians while improving maintenance practices and safety programs.
