ResponsibilitiesThe Actuarial Technician is primarily responsible for data analysis & organization as it pertains to the Actuarial and Underwriting functions, including for individual account pricing and broader pricing analyses. This role will have a high level of interaction within both the Underwriting and Actuarial teams in support of pricing large and complex Public Entity risks.
- Support the Underwriting team in scrubbing, organizing, and analyzing account specific loss and exposure data to aid in pricing large individual risks.
- Assist in regular preparation and analysis of proprietary statistical data to inform loss costs, severity distributions, and other pricing considerations.
- Interface with Underwriting and Actuarial departments to ensure data quality standards are met.
- Assist in the development/maintenance/distribution of actuarial reports and databases.
- Provide support in the analysis of various segments of the business for claim trends & profitability.
- Assist the Pricing Actuary with various data requests and pricing analyses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Excellent capability to organize and analyze various forms of statistical data
- Some actuarial / applicable problem-solving experience preferred
- 2-5+ years relevant work experience
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent work experience)

Base Salary Range: $65,000 - 70,000 The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Eligible to participate in the annual discretionary bonus program Benefits:
