As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be responsible for providing existing Schwab clients with wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals.
Required Qualifications- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license
- Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (or 63/65) and Life & Health Insurance during the first 90 days of employment
- Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen the client relationship by applying a focused client communication strategy, and exceeding client expectations.
- Strong candidates will also learn to leverage Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, market knowledge, and the ability to inspire action to help clients progress toward their goals.
- Openness to manage wealth on behalf of clients including retirement planning, education planning, investment management, banking & lending, insurance & risk management, and estate planning.
- Ability to adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve.
- Passion for community engagement to share and engage clients in discussion about market conditions, sound investing principles, and ideal wealth and long-term investment strategies for their personal situation.
- Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience while furthering your own professional development in wealth management.
