Speech Pathologist ; CCC-SLP): Pediatric, Per Diem, Atlantic Rehab Morristown

Job Overview

Atlantic Health is seeking a fully licensed Pediatric Speech Pathologist to join our award‑winning Atlantic Rehabilitation team in Morristown. The role provides therapeutic services to young patients with a variety of diagnoses, including infants requiring specialized feeding assistance. Hours vary and may extend into the evening.

• Diagnose and evaluate speech and language skills as related to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors.
• Plan, direct, or conduct habilitative and rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency for individuals with communication problems of organic and nonorganic etiology.
• Provide counseling and guidance and language development therapy to disabled individuals.
• Review individual files to obtain background information prior to evaluation, determine appropriate tests, and ensure adequate information is available.
• Administer, score, and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Develop and implement individualized plans for assigned clients to meet individual needs, interests, and abilities.
• Evaluate and monitor individuals, using audiovisual equipment; review treatment plans and assess performance to modify, change, or write new programs.
• Maintain records as required by law, the establishment's policy, and administrative regulations.
• Attend meetings and conferences and participate in other activities to promote professional growth.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required
:

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program or equivalent.
• Full license to practice Speech Pathology (CCC‑SLP).

Preferred
:

• Outpatient Pediatric Experience.
• Experience in Infant Feeding.
