Dietitian - Morristown Medical Center - Full Time

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Dietitian for a full-time role at Morristown Medical Center. This position supports nutrition services within an acute care setting, contributing to patient care and education capabilities across the organization.

• Assess the nutrition status of patients using biochemical, anthropometric, physical and dietary data.
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or family members.
• Maintain quality assurance and evaluate compliance with corporate policies, procedures and state and federal guidelines.
• Develop and participate in educational sessions for staff to increase nutritional knowledge and improve patient care.
• Maintain accurate records to meet regulatory guidelines and assist in statistical analysis for performance improvement initiatives.
• Participate in department PI projects and clinical nutrition programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• 2-3 years of experience in acute care clinical nutrition or a relevant area.
