Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for the Cardiac Rescue and Recovery program at Morristown Medical Center in Northern New Jersey.
ResponsibilitiesThe APP will examine patients, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans; perform technical, clinical and critical procedures; document patient progress; place central and arterial lines; manage mechanical cardiovascular support; conduct initial consultations; provide ongoing care throughout the patient’s stay in critical care and post‑cardiac arrest management. The ideal candidate brings a positive, caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and clinical expertise.
Qualifications- Master’s degree required
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of Cardiac Critical or Device CTICU experience required
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic, team player who can work independently
