Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders;
Monitor patient vital signs and vascular access, perform cannulation, and administer heparin as delegated;
Document treatment data accurately on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and progress notes;
Provide patient education on adequacy measures and infection control; participate in CQI activities;
Assist in training direct patient care staff and coordinate transitions to home dialysis options
