Schedule:
8 am
-6 pm x 4 days a week (Monday-Friday) with a flexible day off
Duties:
• Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
• Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
• The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
• The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist
• The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Strong communication skills using closed loop communication
• The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load
• Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons
• Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system
• Groin management post intervention
• Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment
• BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures
• Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state ( defined in above JD.)
• This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.
Skills:
3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
Education:
-High School Diploma/GED.
-Associate degree.
-Completion of accredited radiographic program.
-NJ radiographic licensure.
-BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
-Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.
