Nursing Assistant, per diem, MED​/Simon -Oncology, Morristown Medical Center

Job Title

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Nursing Assistant for the MED/Simon 5 Unit at Morristown Medical Center.

Schedule:

7 AM – 7:30 PM or 7 PM – 7:30 AM, alternate weekends.

• Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
• Assisting patients with daily activities including bathing, feeding, and changing
• Measuring and recording vital signs
• Administering basic treatments
• Helping to ensure a safe care environment
• Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
• Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills

High School Diploma or GED required.

Will train / Excellent experience for nursing students.

BLS preferred. CNA preferred.

Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ.

Hourly Rate: $20.64.
