Key Responsibilities:

+ As a Mainframe Developer, you will be responsible for providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

+ You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.

+ You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.

+ Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.

+ Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.

+ Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and user experience.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.

+ Document findings and solutions to create a knowledge base for future reference.

+ Participate in continuous learning and development to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

This role requires 3-4 days per week onsite in Jersey City, NJ.

Role requires contractor time away (CTA), 5 days per quarter, as mandated by the client  

Basic Qualifications

+ Minimum 6 years of hands-on Mainframe experience

+ Minimum 6 years of experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 and VSAM

+ High School Diploma / GED

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Advanced proficiency in Mainframes Modernization on GCP

+ Bank experience

+

Experience with Restructured Extended Executor (REXX), DB2 SQL, and Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM) is suggested.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
