Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area onsite at the project, significantly reducing and/or eliminating the demands to travel.

• Establish and maintain partnerships with Application Development and Production. Ensure appropriate instrumentation, tooling, ticketing, alerting, and on‑call routines are in place for key services.
• Maintain knowledge and expertise of supporting production environments, and associated maintenance, change control, incident and problem management.
• Demonstrate expertise in application/infrastructure/software design across multiple technologies and identify opportunities for platform improvements.
• Design and develop significant components within an application, driving optimal solutions using established design patterns and principles.
• Ensure design reviews, code reviews and compliance with bank standards for information security and infrastructure standards.
• Perform or support continuous integration and deployment activities with understanding of Dev Ops and observability.
• Lead adoption of emerging technologies for On‑prem, Cloud, and Hybrid architectures.
• Provide technical guidance for platform engineers and collaborate with solution architects to ensure consistent design across platform components.
• Serve as a seasoned technical resource coordinating dependencies across platform teams and teams working on business capabilities, facilitating collaboration within and across teams.
• Make recommendations ensuring the platform easily supports NFRs across multiple LOB initiatives and anticipated growth over five years.
• Identify complex problems crossing several infrastructure domains, gather data and insights, assess issues, and update mental models of software and infrastructure services.
• Work three days per week onsite in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience building and maintaining applications with focus on performance, observability, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Minimum 5+ years experience overseeing enterprise‑grade platform solutions.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Mule, web services, Kafka, SQL & PL/SQL (Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of XML, JSON and usage within API and microservice implementations at scale.
• Significant expertise in cloud‑native deployment using Open Shift, Kubernetes or a container platform.
• Experience using leading app servers and integration technologies such as Mule ESB, AnyPoint Platform, MQ, Kafka.
• Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace or App Dynamics (APM tools).
• Proven ability to leverage infrastructure automation, Dev Ops, cloud technologies and platform architecture to build resilient, scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Experience implementing best practices, optimizing performance, ensuring compliance with security standards, and providing leadership to the engineering team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to explain low‑level details to a technical audience and high‑level concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
