Internship – Actuarial, Data Science, Product Services

• Work on 2–3 projects related to actuarial, data science, or product services focuses
• Develop, maintain, review, update, and enhance existing processes and tools
• Partner with tenured actuaries, data scientists, and product specialists
• Learn about the nuances of insurance
• Support initiatives that drive efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across Commercial Lines functions
• Work across Commercial Lines and Financial Lines of business, including Auto, General Liability, Property, Umbrella, Workers’ Compensation, Cyber, Professional Liability, and Management Liability

• Relevant coursework/exams in actuarial science or data science a plus
• Data Science: R or Python coding experience (stats and web development packages an added plus)
• Actuarial and Product:
  Excel or R experience required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and in writing
• Ability to manage time and work effectively independently

Demonstrates expertise in Actuarial Science and Data Science, with proficiency in R and Excel for data analysis and process enhancement. Strong communication skills support collaboration across Commercial and Financial Lines of business.
