Job Description:
As an Associate Attorney with our firm, you will be responsible for handling a diverse range of employment litigation and counseling matters on behalf of management. You will work closely with senior attorneys and clients, providing high-quality legal services in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of excellence, possess strong academic credentials, and demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Litigation: Represent management clients in employment-related disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims. Prepare and file legal documents, conduct discovery, and represent clients in court and arbitration proceedings.
- Counseling: Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various employment law issues, including compliance with federal and state regulations, employee handbooks, and workplace policies.
- Client Interaction: Maintain and develop client relationships by delivering high-quality legal services, providing timely updates, and addressing client inquiries effectively.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex employment law issues. Stay updated on current legal developments and trends.
- Team
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop strategies, share knowledge, and contribute to the firm's success.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in management-side employment litigation and counseling matters.
- Bar Admission: Must be admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and New York.
- Education: Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
