Job PurposeThe Senior Demand Lead is the focal point of franchise management for IBP topics, supporting the business in achieving sales performance and growth ambitions by maximizing product availability and minimizing product expiry.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the market‑level IBP process to align stakeholders on a strategic business plan containing scenarios and assumptions.
- Accountable for supply‑chain product supply and inventory for specific franchises.
- Partner with Demand Leads, Demand Planners, Business Units, Finance, Regulatory, Quality and upstream production planners to ensure local market needs are reflected in planning tools.
- Drive continuous improvement of the IBP process and manage the 5‑step monthly IBP cycle:
Product Portfolio Management, Demand Review, Supply Review, Integrated Reconciliation, and Management Business Review. - Prepare and facilitate Management Business Review meetings, track risks and opportunities, and drive follow‑up actions.
- Lead the ODR (obsolescence/ destructions/returns) discussion, identify actions with BU stakeholders to mitigate inventory provisions.
- Collaborate with Global Product Leaders and GBU Supply Chain on product reviews, launch, line extension, and network changes ensuring flawless implementation.
- Analyze key KPIs such as Sales performance, OTIF, MAPE, SPA, inventory targets, destructions and write‑off; identify improvement opportunities and implement actions.
- Support S&O Execution process to link demand planning changes with short‑term supply chain.
- Maintain compliance with Sanofi standards for all processes and activities.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- English language skills.
- Strong negotiation, communication and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in pharmaceutical primary and secondary manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing finances, regulatory processes and procurement.
- Proficiency in scenario planning, risk/benefit analysis and contingency planning.
- Strong change‑driving mindset, internal marketing and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and influence resources that do not report directly to you.
- Experience with SAP and Kinaxis.
- Project management skills and basic financial understanding.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism and commitment.
- Team facilitation and relationship building skills.
- Experience with US, Canada and Puerto Rico Demand Markets.
- Experience launching new products from a supply‑chain perspective in North America.
Salary range: $174,750 – $. Total compensation will be based on experience. Eligible for company benefit programs.
