Marketing Strategist, Commercial

A rapidly growing regional financial institution is entering its next phase of expansion, with ambitious growth goals and a strong focus on strengthening its marketing leadership team. This strategic marketing leadership role is a high-visibility individual contributor position responsible for defining and driving go-to-market strategy for the organization's commercial banking business. The position partners closely with executive business and sales leaders to ensure marketing initiatives directly support revenue growth.

This is not a channel execution role. It is a strategic leadership opportunity with significant ownership, influence, and measurable business impact.

• Own the commercial banking marketing strategy from planning through performance measurement
• Align marketing priorities with sales objectives and revenue targets
• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to commercial banking and sales leadership
• Develop go-to-market strategies across business banking products and services
• Establish direction, priorities, and success metrics for execution teams
• Analyze performance data and optimize strategy based on business outcomes
• Contribute hands-on when needed while maintaining a strategic focus

• Reports into senior marketing leadership
• Works closely with:
  • Commercial Banking leaders
  • Sales and revenue teams
  • Brand, digital, events, creative, and marketing operations teams
• Dedicated execution teams handle campaign delivery while this role focuses on strategy, planning, and business alignment

• Marketing initiatives clearly tied to revenue growth

• Experience in commercial banking, business banking, financial services, or B2B marketing

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
