Nurse Practitioner, Per Diem, Valve and Structural Heart Center - Morristown, NJ

Overview

Atlantic Health is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner for the Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center. The program provides advanced care to patients with complex cardiac conditions. The Nurse Practitioner will support the inpatient service with assessments, consultations, history and physicals, and order entry. Candidates should have at least three years of cardiac experience and be proficient in EPIC.

The role offers flexibility with up to three shifts per week, with a minimum commitment of two shifts per month. Shifts are 8 or 12 hours, available during evening or nighttime hours.

• Support the inpatient service for the Valve and Structural Heart Center
• Perform assessments, consultations, history and physicals, and order entry

• Master's degree
• Certified Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of cardiology experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
