A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Labor & Delivery Nurse in Morristown, NJ. The Labor & Delivery Nurse would be working for a major healthcare system and has career growth potential. This is a full-time contract position with potential for direct hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs. Labor & Delivery Nurse Highlights:
Pay: $60-$65/hr Based on Experience
Schedule:
7:00 PM – 7:00
AM Shift: 12-hour nights Full-time contract opportunity with potential for direct hire Labor & Delivery Nurse Requirements:
Active NJ RN License required ACLS Certification required BLS Certification required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred At least 1-2 years of Recent L&D experience Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical care skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment Excellent communication and patient education skills Apply now to this posting for immediate consideration with Silvana M. with A-Line! Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive and accurate patient assessments across all stages of growth and development from Pediatric to Geriatric populations Deliver direct patient care and support overall patient care delivery within a collaborative team environment Demonstrate strong clinical competency and knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation, including nursing process documentation and patient education Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-centered care while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality standards Follow National Patient Safety Goals, Universal Protocol, and proper patient identification procedures Utilize safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics for patient and staff safety Assess and educate patients and families regarding procedures, treatment plans, and postoperative care Prioritize patient care responsibilities based on changing patient conditions and unit needs Support perioperative and pre-admission testing processes, including review of patient testing orders for completeness and appropriateness Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures, anesthesia care, and recovery processes across the continuum of care
