JOB DESCRIPTION

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking per‑diem Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) to join the Labor and Delivery Service at Morristown Medical Center. The CNM will work inpatient on the labor and delivery floor. This is a great opportunity within a growing service line to make a difference in the community and be an integral part of the obstetric care team.

Morristown Medical Center is a baby‑friendly designated hospital with a state‑of‑the‑art labor and delivery unit and maternity department. The hospital delivers more than 5,400 babies each year.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality, direct patient care by diagnosing, monitoring, and examining women intrapartum, postpartum, labor, and discharge home.
  • Complete medical records and submit billing.
Qualifications
  • Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
  • Licensed as registered nurse (RN) or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Ob/Gyn experience preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and team player who can work independently.
